Welcome Notes is the monthly English language newsletter for friends of Welcome to Bulgaria. We try to fill each issue with timely and useful information for foreigners interested in Bulgaria and Bulgarian things. Here are some of our regular features:

In the Know are short articles commenting on current events of interest to foreigners in Bulgaria. Examples include developments in government, economics, national statistics, laws affecting foreigners, and similar topics. If you have questions you want answered, please feel free to suggest something for a future issue. - What's On Around Bulgaria
What's On Around Bulgaria is a monthly feature highlighting major events happening each month around the country. We include holiday celebrations and festivals, cultural events, conferences, charity events, and more. Contact us to request a free listing of your event. - Top 100
Each month we include a brief article describing one of the locations included in the Bulgarian Tourist Union program promoting the Top 100 Tourist Sites in Bulgaria. - Book Review
We try to find an interesting book about Bulgaria or written by a Bulgarian to share with our readers each month. Welcome to Bulgaria maintains a reference library in our office for use by Miracle Max subscribers. - Restaurant Review
We visit restaurants regularly in search of recommendations to present. We only write about places where we have eaten, and all of our visits are unannounced, so you can trust us to give you an honest impression of food, service and ambience. - Bulgarian Idiom
